Access to healthcare in remote areas remains a major challenge. The limited number of medical personnel, health facilities, and infrastructure make it difficult for many people to obtain adequate medical services. On-demand healthcare services are a potential solution to address this gap.

With telemedicine technology, patients in remote areas can consult with doctors without having to travel far. In addition, on-demand service platforms allow freelance medical personnel to reach areas that are difficult to access with a more flexible work model.

However, the success of these services is highly dependent on supporting infrastructure, such as stable internet access and adequate transportation facilities. Without this support, on-demand services will only be effective in urban areas.

In addition, the government and healthcare providers need to collaborate in providing incentives for medical personnel who are willing to serve remote areas. With the right approach, on-demand services can help equalize access to healthcare in Indonesia.
