Telemedicine has become a revolutionary solution to address limited healthcare access, especially in remote areas. With a dispersed population and minimal medical facilities in these areas, healthcare access challenges are increasingly complex. By 2025, telemedicine technology is expected to provide more inclusive healthcare services.

Through digital platforms, patients in remote areas can connect with specialist doctors without having to travel far. This technology utilizes video conferencing, health applications, and remote diagnostic tools to provide consultations, diagnoses, and treatments. Another advantage is more affordable costs because patients do not need to spend transportation costs to big cities.

In addition, telemedicine programs support the training of local medical personnel by presenting webinars and consultations with specialist doctors, thereby increasing the capacity of human resources in the health sector. However, for successful implementation, the government and technology providers must ensure stable internet connectivity in remote areas.
