Telemedicine and telehealth are two terms that are often used interchangeably, but they have different focuses that complement each other. Telemedicine focuses on medical services such as remote diagnosis and treatment, while telehealth covers a broader range of aspects, including health education and preventive monitoring.

By 2025, the collaboration between telemedicine and telehealth is projected to create a comprehensive digital health ecosystem. Wearable technology will allow patients to monitor their health conditions in real-time, while health applications can provide education on healthy lifestyles.

This integration also facilitates access to health services for people in remote areas, the elderly population, and people with chronic diseases. To realize a better future, the development of supportive policies and technology training for medical personnel are top priorities.
